We lucked into our architect, Mason Miller. We'd seen some of his stuff on
Houzz.com and liked it quite a bit. He had been on the west coast, though -- San Francisco. Another architect we liked, who wasn't available, recommended him, which was when we noticed that he'd moved to Wilmette, a couple of towns south of Glencoe.
He's been fantastic with us so far. EXTREMELY patient with me -- which is a feat in and of itself.
Mason was in school at RPI in Troy, New York, less than an hour from Williamstown. Fun fact -- my dad had his college choices narrowed down to Williams or RPI and ultimately decided on the former.
