The subject.

We closed on this house at the end of May, this year.  We've not lived it it yet.  Margot has played in it.  Here is the link to an original listing (via Redfin) and the listing photos:

Front view of 991EBL -- looking east.

Front entranceway.  To the right is the eat-in kitchen.  The red brick tile is linoleum or similar.  Its going.  The wallpaper -- courtesy of me and Margot one afternoon -- is already gone (as is one of the glass globes on the light fixture, courtesy of my dad standing up too fast without that table there).

South-east facing view of the Dining Room, Living Room, and Den (far end).  Note the life-sized statute of a man behind the couch.  Margot gave him a hug on our first visit to this open house.

North-facing view of the LR/DR.  The "tray" ceiling is a "feature" that we are exploring removing in lieu of a upward sloping ceiling giving more volume.

The kitchen.  Sub-zero fridge is staying.  Else, pretty much everything else (including the wall on the right side of the photo) is going.  Look closely, and you'll see the QUAD ovens in the wall.

North-facing look from the den, through the double-sided fireplace.  Note the "James Bond" style secret door to the right of the FP.

Master bedroom.  Those are about twelve feet of windows facing west on the front of the house.  Thankfully, no asbestos tile in this room (more on that later).

The third bedroom -- what will end up as our guest bedroom.

Our long, narrow back yard.  Underneath the far end of snow is a large cement patio.

Margot's room.  Pretty pink vinyl tile lives under that carpeting.  Sadly (from Margot's perspective), it will not stay.

So, that's the condition that we found it in.
